Do you nerds want me to keep writing a monthly ‘Culture’ post where I compile everything I absorbed that month, or would you rather have the reviews and stuff as I finish them?
A psychological advantage for me is that a single monthly post means I can maintain this Substack as (in my head), 50/50 Culture and RPG stuff. While if I release reviews as I make them, then the substack becomes a mainly-culture blog, with possible monthly RPG content. If you are here for the D&D stuff then you might just stop reading if its review-review-review-review-nerd shit.
On the other hand, I wonder how many people actually read those long posts or respond to anything in them.
SO: which would you rather have? Big Monthly Summation or Review-as-you-go? (For other options drop a comment).
Whatever schedule makes it most enjoyable for you to write is the best schedule - I enjoy reading it as it comes.
I also read them! I feel it's easier to skim through a long one if something does not interest me then to get a lot of seperate reviews that I am not into.
